In my free time I enjoy shopping, dining, and spending time with my family, friends, and my two pups."
"I graduated from Shelton State Community College in 2007 and started my nursing adventures in immediate care where I worked for 2 years. Then after moving from Alabama to Illinois, I worked in family practice for 10 years and then worked in assisted living on a memory care unit. For the last two and a half years I have been working in a drug and alcohol recovery unit as well as part time for Home Touch Healthcare. I enjoy home health because it allows me to meet the individual needs of patients in their homes and it’s a rewarding challenge to keep patients from having to go to hospital. I have been a nurse for 8 years now. I decided to go into nursing because I had health problems that required brain surgery and was inspired by the care I received from nurses, and I wanted to provide the same comfort and care to others.
